We are experts in preparing Mixes for your Formulation from a controlled Check Plan that ensures consistency of Product. Our Research and Development Team are on hand to make suggestions which will enhance your product.

Concentrates

The key word today in Product Development is Efficiency. We can reduce your Formulae whether Food or Bakery to a Concentrate in a Pack Size unique to you which only requires carriers to be added, usually flour and water. All Concentrates are packed in a Rip and Tip Bag to ensure no paper or thread enters your production.

This process is both Cost Effective and Efficient as it ensures all Mixes are produced to a uniform and exacting standard and reduces the need for the customer to carry numerous pallets of ingredients when with this method, one pallet will suffice.

Soda Breads

Shackletons have a long history in the preparation of Soda Bread. In recent years there has been a considerable move to more healthy varieties, and in particular, we have developed a unique Gluten Free Soda. All our mixes can be prepared as concentrates or all-in mixes.

Traditional, Butter Milk, High Fibre, and Gluten Free.

Seed Mixes

We specialise in a variety of Seed Blends from Single Seed to Multi-Seed Blends, or Tailor-Made to your requirements, including yeasted and non - yeasted products. The dietary benefits of Whole or Par Ground Grains is now fully recognised, and we have developed a system of isolating the grain, and cleaning and crushing which requires 14 different processes thus ensuring the Perfect Grain. Packed from 1 Kilo to 1000 Kilo Bags as required.

Multi-Seed, Yeasted Varieties, Malted Seed, Corn Seed, Ancient Grains, and Gluten Free.

Scones

The demand for Scone Variations has grown enormously in recent years. To meet this demand, we at Shackleton's have developed a large variety of Blends that give a consistent High-Quality Scone. We also have Scone Mixes that incorporate Encapsulated Raising Agents thus making them suitable for Frozen Pucks which can be baked directly from frozen.

Muffins

Crumb, Form and Flavour are the critical aspects of the ideal muffin. In Shackletons, we have undertaken substantial research and have developed expertise that can be of assistance to our clients, whether their needs be of the Traditional or Frozen Varieties. Shelf life can be extended from 5 to 90 days as required. We have also developed a range of Breakfast / Savoury Muffins.

Product Range:

Traditional, Blueberry, Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate, Savoury, and Breakfast Muffins. This Muffin Range is also available in Gluten Free.

Pancakes

Shackletons mix a range of Pancake Blends to meet all customer requirements or tailored to your Specific Formula. Pancake Variations are increasingly used by athletes to meet individual Dietary Requirements
